Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant devices that operate for long periods with minimal maintenance.
  • Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • Improve product experience, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Develop prototypes and manage experiments to validate key design concepts.
  • Write quality Linux-based software for common processors and microcontrollers.
  • Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and test cases.
  • Own the complete software lifecycle, including development, testing, and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another STEM discipline.
  • At least one year of professional software engineering experience; internship experience is acceptable.
  • Deep understanding of technologies previously worked with and the ability to analyze issues several layers deep.
  • Experience with embedded systems and launching or operating consumer or enterprise products.
  • Knowledge of networking and the Linux networking stack.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and software engineering fundamentals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
  • Applicants must meet applicable ITAR authorization requirements.
