Production Manager

Location: Iowa City, IA

Salary/Pay Rate: $80,000 - $85,000

We are looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead our tight-knit manufacturing team. Unlike massive corporate facilities with endless red tape, this is a streamlined 2-line operation with fewer than 20 employees across two shifts. This means you will have true ownership of the floor, a highly predictable schedule, and a work environment where your impact is noticed daily. It's a stable company that's been in operation for over 50 years and has a continuous improvement mindset with people, processes, and equipment.

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for our 2-line production floor to meet output goals.
• Lead, coach, and schedule a small, dedicated team of assembly/production workers.
• Ensure product quality standards and strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Basic troubleshooting of equipment issues on the line alongside the team when needed.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and track daily production logs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting (e.g., Manager, Line Supervisor, or Coordinator).
• Strong communication skills with a natural ability to motivate a small team.
• Hands-on mentality—you enjoy being out on the floor, not trapped in an office all day.
• Basic computer skills for tracking production data and schedules.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
