Job Description

The Window Installer / Service Technician performs on-site diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments to windows, doors, and related products. This role focuses on troubleshooting issues, completing high-quality installations and service work, and ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication and professional, customer-facing interactions. You will use carpentry skills, hand and power tools, and mobile technology to document work, complete service orders, and support residential and new construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments to windows, doors, and related products in residential and new construction settings.
• Install and set various types of windows and doors, ensuring proper fit, function, and finish carpentry quality.
• Use a tape measure to take accurate measurements and calculate dimensions in feet and inches for installation and repair work.
• Operate hand and power tools, such as nail guns, staple guns, hammers, utility knives, circular saws, levels, and squares, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot product and installation issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repair solutions.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Grand Rapids,MI.
