Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer on behalf of our client in Remote. This role is ideal for an experienced front-end professional with strong JavaScript expertise and a passion for building modern, accessible, and responsive web applications. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and enhancement of user-facing solutions by creating reusable web components, improving application performance, and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. Experience with Lit (preferred) , Ember.js , or modern JavaScript frameworks is highly desired.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain reusable Web Components using modern JavaScript and Lit (preferred) or Ember.js .
Build responsive, user-friendly, and accessible interfaces that meet WCAG and Section 508 compliance standards.
Implement front-end enhancements to improve usability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve front-end issues independently and efficiently.
Contribute to scalable front-end architecture, component libraries, and consistent styling standards.
Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences.
Support integration with Ruby on Rails-based applications, including working with YAML configuration files when needed.
Participate in accessibility reviews and implement recommended improvements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and knowledge-sharing resources.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript , HTML, and CSS.
Hands-on experience with Lit (preferred) , Ember.js , or Web Components development.
Experience building responsive and reusable UI components for modern web applications.
Strong understanding of web accessibility standards , including WCAG and Section 508 compliance.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex front-end issues.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Familiarity with version control systems and modern front-end development practices.
Basic understanding of Ruby on Rails and working with YAML configuration files.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Vue.js .
Experience contributing to design systems, component libraries, or scalable front-end architectures.
Familiarity with performance optimization and front-end best practices.
Experience participating in accessibility audits and remediation efforts.
