Overview
As a Senior Structural Engineer, the candidate shall be able to lead multiple project teams in the development of drawing packages, specifications, and reports for the completion of assigned projects. The candidate must exhibit a complete understanding of engineering principles, theories, typical applications, codes, standards, published recommendations, and concepts associated with the structural engineering as required to complete project or system designs. Additionally, the candidate must have experience in the management and development of engineering teams. The Senior Structural Engineer will typically operate as Structural Engineer of Record for the assigned project(s) and lead and delegate assignments to the engineering and design support staff assigned to the project. This candidate must have the ability to schedule and forecast the assigned team over the duration of the project(s) and manage the engineering team within the project schedule and budget constraints as defined by the executed contract. This candidate shall be responsible for all structural project deliverables and associated engineering analysis and calculations.
