Regional Sales Trainer 
Position Summary:
The Regional Sales Trainer is responsible for driving protection plan performance across approximately four Retail locations by delivering impactful sales training, coaching, and performance development initiatives. This role partners closely with sales associates, cashiers, department managers, store managers, and General Managers to improve attachment rates, increase customer value, and ensure consistent execution of protection plan sales strategies.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales professional with a strong background in consumer electronics and/or appliances, exceptional training and coaching skills, and the ability to influence performance at all levels of the organization. This position requires extensive travel within the assigned region and a hands-on approach to developing people and driving results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly in-store training sessions focused on protection plan features, benefits, objection handling, and value-based selling.
  • Coach sales associates, cashiers, department managers, store managers, and General Managers on best practices that drive attachment and overall sales performance.
  • Analyze store performance metrics, KPIs, attachment rates, and sales trends to identify opportunities and implement action plans.
  • Collaborate with store leadership and corporate teams to ensure alignment on goals, initiatives, and performance expectations.
  • Facilitate classroom, small-group, and one-on-one coaching sessions designed to improve sales effectiveness and customer engagement.
  • Participate in and support Train-the-Trainer programs and ongoing professional development initiatives.
  • Conduct store visits, observations, and performance audits to ensure consistent execution of sales processes.
  • Partner with management teams to create coaching plans and accountability measures that improve results.
  • Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to leadership.
  • Assist with onboarding and development of new associates and managers.
  • Support customer issue resolution by partnering with store management and call center teams to expedite claims and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Help de-escalate challenging customer situations through effective communication and collaboration with management and support teams.
  • Promote a customer-first culture while reinforcing the value of protection plans as an essential part of the customer experience.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably within consumer electronics, appliances, retail, or related industries.
  • Previous training, coaching, leadership, or sales development experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to influence sales performance and drive measurable business results.
  • Strong understanding of retail sales processes, customer engagement, and KPI management.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable performance improvement strategies.
  • Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across multiple levels of leadership.
  • Experience handling customer escalations and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and performance reporting tools.
Requirements
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Ability to travel approximately 75%within the assigned region.
  • Must be available to work Monday through Friday during normal business hours , with one Saturday per month required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift training materials and equipment as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
