Job Description
The Production Assembler supports a large manufacturing operation by operating equipment, monitoring battery filling processes, and handling components that are used in battery production. This role involves standing on the production line, loading parts into machines, visually inspecting components, and accurately logging production data in both computer systems and on paper forms.
Responsibilities
Why Work Here?
This position offers a contract-to-hire path with a rapidly growing organization that is expanding its operations. Employees have opportunities to move into other roles once hired directly, supporting long-term career growth. The company provides competitive compensation with opportunities for overtime, as well as multiple health plan options, dental and vision coverage, and a 401(k) plan with up to a 5% match. With significant government funding secured to support expansion, the organization is investing in its future and its workforce. Employees receive 15 days of vacation once hired directly, without having to wait a full year, supporting work-life balance and time off when needed.
Work Environment
The role is based in a large, clean manufacturing facility focused on battery production. Employees perform assembly work on the production line and may be trained on forklift operations in the future, though not while working under the initial contract period. The position requires standing for extended periods throughout the shift and working with production machinery, hand tools, and power tools in a structured environment. The work pace is steady rather than fast, but it demands consistent attention to detail, safe equipment operation, and accurate data entry into computer systems and on paper logs.
