Boulder Care is hiring a Peer Recovery Specialist for a 100% remote, full-time position. We are looking for individuals who: - Reside in Ohio - Have an active peer certification in good standing in Ohio - Have 2+ years of experience in peer recovery support, including experience navigating opioid use disorder treatment resources and referral processes - Are available to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a. m. to 6:00 p. m. About the role At Boulder, Peer Recovery Specialists use their lived experience intentionally to support individuals with substance use disorders. You’ll provide independent, recovery-oriented support that is trauma-informed and grounded in harm reduction. The role requires a strong foundation in peer support principles, sound judgment, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with individuals navigating complex needs and barriers to care. In this work, you’ll support patient autonomy, meet individuals where they are, and help patients identify and pursue recovery goals that are meaningful to them.
