Position Overview

A Greenwich, CT family is seeking an experienced career nanny to join their household full-time on a live-in basis. The family has three children: a five-month-old girl and two boys, ages six and eight. The role centers on the infant during school hours and shifts to after-school care, driving, and activity support for the older two boys in the afternoons. A private bedroom and private bathroom are provided. The family employs a housekeeper, so this position is focused on childcare and child-related household tasks rather than general housekeeping. Reliable driving is a core part of the role — school runs and activity transport happen daily, with parking available at the residence. The family previously had a long-tenured nanny and is looking for someone who wants a stable, multi-year placement.

Responsibilities

• Full care of a five-month-old infant, including feeding, bottles, naps, diapering, and age-appropriate developmental play
• After-school care for two school-age boys, ages six and eight
• Daily driving to and from school and extracurricular activities
• Establishing and maintaining consistent routines and schedules across all three children
• Children's laundry, tidying of children's spaces, and organization of children's belongings
• Preparing meals and snacks for the children
• Homework support and encouragement for the older two
• Coordinating and supporting activity schedules
• Clear, consistent communication with the parents

Requirements

• Career nanny with substantial professional experience
• Demonstrated infant experience
• Experience caring for school-age children
• Comfortable living in a private-quarters arrangement within the family home
• Valid driver's license, and comfort driving daily
• Reliable vehicle preferred; family vehicle may be available
• Ability to commit long-term
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
