Salary: $96,800 - 306,400 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• We look for 12+ years of professional software development experience, including success delivering complex, production-grade distributed systems, platform services, or developer tools at scale.
• We need strong programming ability in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, C++, C#, Python, or similar.
• We value deep architecture and system design expertise, including experience evolving APIs, data models, and service ecosystems for scalability, availability, security, operability, and long-term business impact.
• We expect a solid grasp of cloud-native technologies, including containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering.
• We seek Senior Principal-level leadership, with the ability to define technical vision, influence executives and senior engineering leaders, align organizations, and drive sustained outcomes across complex systems.
• We require excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical ideas, build durable consensus, and influence decisions across organizational and functional boundaries.
• We are interested in experience with application deployment platforms, continuous delivery, GitOps, artifact management, or developer platform engineering.
• We also value background in large-scale distributed systems, multi-tenant cloud services, control planes, workflow orchestration, platform architecture, or multi-year technology strategy.
• Additional experience in reliability engineering, production incident leadership, observability, capacity strategy, or performance engineering is a plus.
• Experience in security engineering, identity and access management, policy-as-code, supply-chain security, or compliance automation is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools, agentic workflows, or safety architecture and governance for autonomous or semi-autonomous systems at enterprise scale is advantageous.

• We define and promote platform-wide safety and reliability standards, including isolation, policy enforcement, auditability, observability, recovery, and safe-by-default deployment patterns.
• We shape our approach to AI- and agent-assisted engineering by establishing scalable technical foundations, governance models, and safeguards that support innovation with appropriate human oversight.
• We identify and drive the highest-impact opportunities using operational data, customer needs, technology trends, and a deep understanding of the developer ecosystem.
• We act as an organizational multiplier through architecture leadership, technical mentorship, cross-team design governance, and the development of enduring engineering standards and talent.
