Job Overview:
The Lab Manager will oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with safety standards, managing laboratory staff, and maintaining equipment and supplies. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise laboratory staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards within the laboratory.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
• Oversee inventory management and procurement of laboratory supplies.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory processes.
• Collaborate with other departments to support research and development activities.
• Prepare and present reports on laboratory activities and findings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in laboratory management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using laboratory management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the lab.
