We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes.

Position Details

We are currently looking for a Japanese Teacher for one of our clients in Birmingham (Alabama), United States.

  • Format : one-to-one
  • Total Hours : 30
  • Session length : two-hour
  • Location : I’d prefer my trainers office (client's location for reference: 35242, Birmingham (Alabama))
  • Student Level : Beginner/Elementary 
  • Student Age Group : 25-34
  • Schedule : 2-hour lessons once per week -  For weekends, any time would be fine (depending on holidays/vacations), weekdays I work till 5. Mon & Fri I am WFH, the other days I am in downtown Bham. If during the weekdays, I would say around 6 or so (depending on where the tutor is located)
  • Start Date : I would like to start in late August or early September.
  • Motivation : I would like to one day work in Japan, my main goal is to reach business level Japanese.

Ideal Candidate

  • Be a native Japanese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
  • Have a valid work permit/visa
  • Live within 20 miles of the specified location

Conditions

  • Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
  • Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
  • Freelance, part-time position
  • We are not able to sponsor visas
