Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst will join the Optum Insight team, working in a fully remote capacity to support our clinical systems modernization. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert for technical configuration, integrations, and Epic systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust system changes, utilizing modern technologies and digital tools to solve complex clinical workflow challenges. Preferred Qualifications Current Epic certification/proficiency in Orders/Order Transmittal/Order Sets and/or ICON with 3+ years experience 3+ years of relevant work experience in business systems analysis or related technical role within the healthcare industry 3+ years of hands-on technical experience working with Epic in a technical build role Strong communication and analytical skills with a proven track record of presenting systems prototypes and functional models to business users. The interview process will consist of up to 2 rounds of video phone interviews covering some technical content as well as past experience. Job Responsibilities Top responsibilities include: Implement, modify, test, and administer complex business systems and applications, specializing in Epic environments. Conduct thorough analysis of business and user needs to deliver appropriate technical systems solutions from concept to completion. Design screens, workflows, reports, interfaces, and prepare functional and technical specifications for system changes. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and application issues, handling both user-reported and vendor-reported incidents. Help manage service incidents and requests, serving as a key subject matter expert for technical configurations and integrations. Lead meetings and direct team problem-solving sessions, collaborating across team boundaries and other capability sub-domains. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for external vendors and resolve vendor-related technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications
