The USA Powerboat Championship, sanctioned by the US Offshore Racing Association, is a "first-time" USA "title" racing event ever to be staged. The USA Powerboat Championship is the only USA Championship to be held each year. In addition, the American Power Boat Association (APBA) and the Super Boat Racing (SBR) are endorsing the USA Powerboat Championship.
